The submissive will be proud of the collar the Dominant collars you with. Submissive takes their heavy beating as the proof of the Dominant devotion.
Dominance and submission are anchored in the mental body. D/s involves power exchange. it is used daring a scene or time when they are together.
A submissive is not the girlfriend. (some cases it may be) Boyfriend//girlfriend have rights, in D/s the submissive is property and only has the right the Dominant grants.

I almost agree with u. You say a submissive is not a girlfriend/boyfriend because they have right. A submissive has rights, a submissive is a choice I believe you dont give up your right until you agree to be a slave
